2008 Incoming President Message

Dear Members and Friends,

"The Montrose-Verdugo City Chamber of Commerce..... it's where you belong."

The Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit corporation. It is a democratic organization with many volunteers that have the same goals and objective of improving their lives and the community through service. Working together we can make a great community even better.

The Chamber is essential to helping both new and established businesses gain community recognition. The chamber hosts many events throughout the year and I invite each and every one of you to get involved. Your participation and patronage at these events shows your support by keeping not only your dollars but also your enthusiasm in the community. This is what makes the Crescenta Valley a great place to work and live.

So, join us at a monthly Member Mixer on the first Wednesday of the month, the Art Walk, or the Oktoberfest! Patronize your local stores and businesses whenever possible. Get to know your neighbors.

If you are a business consider joining the Chamber, its benefits are immeasurable. Ribbon cutting ceremonies are held for new members with a photo and press release to help give your business the coverage its deserves. If you are an individual, the Chamber welcomes you as a Residential Member to share in our many activities.

The chamber is one of the best kept secrets in our community. It is time to let the secret out and share it with others. I personally invite you to participate with your Chamber of Commerce in 2008... it's where we all belong.
