at the Citibank Community Room in Montrose
MONTROSE-VERDUGO CITY CHAMBER PROUDLY PRESENTS A WORKSHOP BY
WORLD FAMOUS ARTIST GERALD BROMMER.
"I am basically a landscape painter, since landscape
elements comprise the major portion of my subject matter. My approach
to environmental subjects, however, is not one of replication but
of interpretation and spirit… While visual design awareness and
techniques are important in my work, they are only the tools that
help me express my concerns and appreciation of our material environment
and of God's hand in nature." Gerald Brommer
Emphasis will be placed on generating dynamic compositions;
emphasizing texture, responding to surface developments and
rescuing unsuccessful paintings.
The overriding goal of this workshop is to help you achieve
freedom of expression, learn to respond to surfaces, develop
an alternative method of working with watercolor, and have
fun while you master a new and exciting technique. |
