| MVCC Art Walk 2012

2300 & 2400 block of Honolulu Ave.

The Montrose Verdugo-City Chamber of Commerce (MVCC) invites you to apply for spaces for our 2012 Art Walks. There are 4 Art Walks this year. For 2012, we've increased spots on the 2300 block, broken-up excessively large spaces, and have reduced the spots on the 2400 block. We have also increased the Art Walk fee by $10.

Spaces are available along the sidewalk of Honolulu Avenue in Montrose at the west end, on the 2300-2400 Blocks. Some spaces are on the grass, under trees, in the sun, long, wide, or can accommodate a 10 X 10 Canopy. When applying please let us know what your needs are and we will try to accommodate when possible.
Please note the following:
- $50.00 a space, 60 spaces available per Art Walk. Some spots are long, wide, circular, but most add up to 50 to 75 square feet (give or take). ONLY 1 artist per spot.
- First come first serve: We will not hold or reserve a space without payment. To keep things fair for everyone, past Art Walk participants no longer have seniority over locations.
- Set up begins at 8:00 am and the MVCC Art Walk runs from 9:00 AM TO 4:00 PM. NO early tear down.
- Artists, (when possible) demonstrate your work.
- Bring your own set-up: Table, chairs, easels, displays, etc. If using tents/canopies or umbrellas, let us know; only certain spaces can accommodate these set-ups. Enclosed tents are NOT allowed.
- While we understand that art is subjective, we do not accept the following into the Art Walk: jewelry, handmade stationary, crafts (knitted, sewed, crochet, etc.), clothing, resell of used items, and selling of food.
- Enclose 3 photos of your work.
- All art work must be original and by the participating artist. Any prints sold must be prints or original works by the participating artist.
- Sign-up by March 31st, 2012 and get your multiple event discount (see PDF link below for details). After March 31st, each Art Walk event will be $50.00—no exceptions. If paying by check, make check payable to MVCC.
- In the event of rain or your absence, your fee is considered a donation—no refunds.
